PRICING. DEAL ARCHITECTURE. EXECUTION.
About

The architecture is the easier part.

Building pricing at global scale taught one lesson above all others. Programs are decided in the months after launch, when friction rises, negotiations get harder and longer, and leadership starts to wonder whether it was worth it. Holding the line through that period, together with sales, is the work.

The Pricing Operator brings that experience to other businesses, in partnership with their leadership and their pricing team, and leaves a team that runs it on its own.

Founder

Frederik Scheller

Frederik spent more than a decade at Nielsen and NielsenIQ, most recently as SVP, Global Head of Pricing. With his team he built NIQ's first global pricing and strategic deal desk function from scratch, covering pricing and commercial terms for the majority of NIQ's $4.2B revenue: price setting, a local deal desk, a global client pricing team for the largest negotiations, CPQ and AI price guidance, and the change program that made it stick. For several years the contracting team also reported to him.

NIQ named value-based pricing the primary driver of its organic growth, and Adjusted EBITDA margin rose from 15% in 2022 to 22% in 2025.¹ The transformation earned him the NielsenIQ Leadership Excellence Award. He led the pricing integration of GfK after the 2023 combination and served as a Member of the Board of Directors of The Nielsen Company (Europe) Sàrl, NIQ's principal operating company for its European business.

He came to pricing from finance. Before leading pricing he led global commercial finance, where he built the client- and product-level margin visibility the pricing transformation was later built on, was finance business partner for global FMCG clients, and ran FP&A for Western Europe.

The team he built sustained engagement well above Gallup's global benchmark: the 93rd percentile for his leadership team and the 81st for the function as a whole.
